Moments ago, the House of Representatives just passed the $1.15 trillion spending bill that includes a $680 billion package of tax-break extensions, in a 316 to 113 vote, and will now move to the Senate, where its passage is likewise assured and will be signed by the president over the next few days.
John Kerry went to Moscow on Tuesday and was absolutely elated when he stumbled on a Dunkin Donuts:

Despite scandalous neglect by mass media and predictable opposition from big money, Bernie Sanders is the #1 favorite of the majority of voters. A defective run-off process disguises this fact behind a partisan primary curtain where Sanders loses to Clinton 2-1. Democrats, 30% of voters, don't know that Sanders runs decisively ahead of Clinton against Republicans and are even more ignorant of their respective qualities.
Hopefully, the meeting in Moscow helped Kerry understand that the Obama regime's neoconservative policies have created a momentum toward war that needs to be broken. As the Syrian drama unfolds, the Russian government will learn whether Kerry's words are for real or just more of Washington's dissembling.
Amidst all the current shadow play, the true test of the Obama administration's intentions is whether the US coalition will really fight Daesh, al-Nusra and Ahrar ash-Sham (which harbors a lot of jihadists from Chechnya, Dagestan and Uzbekistan), with no reservations.
