For the first time in 64 years, atomic scientists reset their symbolic "Doomsday Clock" to its closest time to midnight on Thursday, saying the world was closer to catastrophe due to threats such as nuclear weapons, climate change and Donald Trump's election as U.S. president. The timepiece, devised by the Chicago-based Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and displayed on its website, is widely viewed as an indicator of the world's vulnerability to disaster.

The "clock's" hands were moved to two minutes and 30 seconds to midnight, from three minutes.

President Trump has announced plans to launch a full-blown investigation into possible voter fraud involving Hillary Clinton and others during last year’s election. The President said he plans on launching a “major investigation” that will focus on how illegal aliens and dead people were able to vote. Trump would have won the popular vote by a landslide if non-citizens had been prevented from voting. According to Greg Phillips of VoteFraud.org, over three million votes were cast by illegal aliens during last year’s Presidential election.

Contrary to reports in the media, the crowd sourced investigation labeled by some as "Pizzagate" did not begin with internet sleuths digging through the Wikileaks Podesta Files releases looking for pizza parlors and encoded language discussing human trafficking. It began with the shocking discovery that Hillary and Bill Clinton provided assistance to convicted child trafficker, Laura Silsby, resulting in a reduced sentence for child trafficking.

While the Economist's endorsement of Hillary Clinton - and its antipathy toward Donald Trump  - is no secret, we are "confident" there is little connection between the economic publication's ideological leanings and the just released report by the Economist's in house Intelligence unit, which has officially demoted the US to a second-class democracy.
