Paul Ryan Finally Folds, Will Vote For Donald Trump

After weeks of withholding a formal endorsement of his party's presumptive nominee, Speaker Paul Ryan on Thursday said he will vote for Donald Trump for president. "I'll be voting for @realDonaldTrump this fall. I'm confident he will help turn the House GOP's agenda into laws," Ryan's campaign account tweeted, linking to an article in The Gazette, his hometown newspaper in Wisconsin.

As we reported yesterday citing a former Bill Clinton politcal staffer and advisor, Douglas Schoen, it is looking increasingly likely that Hillary may be replaced by Joe Biden at the Demoratic presidential convention. As the main catalyst, Schoen cited the outcome of the California presidential primary.  As he writes, "the inevitability behind Mrs. Clinton’s nomination will be in large measure eviscerated if she loses the June 7 California primary to Bernie Sanders.
