I was about to write a detailed and favorable review of Greg Palast’s book, Billionaires & Ballot Bandits when a friend sent me a request to “share” Palast’s Facebook LIVE broadcast of Palast’s documentary exposing “exactly how Trump and his cronies attacked the voting rights of a million minority vorers to steal the White House.”
More than 3,000 Yemeni women took to the streets of Sanaa to protest against Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the Yemen conflict. Women fighters carrying machine guns and rocket launchers gathered in the capital Sanaa on Wednesday, shouting slogans against the multinational coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia. Some of the women carried toddlers as they took to the streets to show their support for the rebels fighting a war which has cost 10,000 civilian lives.
With just two days left to go until Trump's inauguration, one of the President-elect's biggest opponents during the presidential campaign, Mexican billionaire and the country's richest man Carlos Slim, said on Tuesday that his cell-phone company America Movil is launching a a TV channel in the United State, Nuestra Vision, which "is focused on Mexicans, made by Mexicans and transmitted from Mexico," putting it into competition with broadcasters like Univision and Telemundo.
