A GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the developmentally challenged victim of the brutal attack broadcast on Facebook Live, on January 5, has raised almost $140,000 in three days.

As ABC reports, the GoFundMe campaign called "Let's show the Chicago victim love" had a goal of $10,000. As of today the account has reached almost $140,000.

In the latest highly politicized Hollywood event, last night's Golden Globes took aim squarely at Donald Trump, when Actress Meryl Streep delivered an emotional speech railing against President-elect Donald Trump, without actually mentioning him by name. while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 74th annual Golden Globes on Sunday. The actress referred to the time Trump imitated a disabled New York Times reporter on the campaign trail, and said that particular, real-life performance broke her heart.

The entire star-studded audience at the Golden Globes practically cried in unison, after Meryl Streep took to the mic to lament over an incident that happened last year regarding what she thought was Donald Trump mocking a disabled reporter.
 
The rift was with NY Times reporter Serge Kovaleski, who said Trump was lying about witnessing Muslims celebrating in New Jersey after 9/11 -- which later proved out to be true. Without delving into old news, Trump said he wasn't making fun of Serge's physical disabilities, but instead mocking a reporter who was flustered.
