Brussels Suicide Bombers Planted Hidden Camera At Home Of Top Belgium Nuclear Official

As the chaos surrounding the coordinated suicide attacks on Belgium unfolded on Tuesday morning, we reported that energy utility Electrabel was evacuating two nuclear power plants, Doel, made up of four reactors, and Tihange, comprised of three.

Electrabel would later dispute that account, drawing a distinction between a full evacuation and the utility’s generous offer to non-essential employees: “...people who are not strictly necessary on site can leave.”

Pentagon Sells ‘Smart Bombs’ To ISIS Supporter Turkey

The Pentagon have approved a deal to sell $700 million worth of ‘smart bombs’ to Turkey – one of the biggest state-sponsors of the ISIS regime.  The deal is aimed at bolstering Ankara’s military in fighting the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Iraq. Ibtimes.com reports: “The deal came timely, as we are deeply engaged in asymmetrical warfare and need smart bombs,” a Turkish military official told Defense News. Turkey intensified its efforts against the Kurdish militants after they canceled a two-year-long ceasefire in July.

Largest Fireball Since Chelyabinsk Explodes Over Atlantic

A huge fireball crashed into the Atlantic earlier in February and went virtually unseen. NASA reported that the meteor exploded in the air 620 miles (1,000 kilometers ) off the coast of Brazil on February 6th, releasing energy equivalent to 13,000 tons of TNT, the same as the first atomic weapon that levelled Hiroshima in 1945 It is the largest incident of its type since February 2013 when a fireball exploded over Chelyabinsk, Russia, leaving more than 1,600 people injured.
