Be careful what you say at Virginia Tech. Chances are, it could be a microaggression.
Multiple groups at Virginia Tech have collaborated to collect “microaggression testimonials” from students, who came up with roughly 50 different expressions that offend them. The examples are currently displayed on the “Microaggressions: #hokiesspeakup” Facebook page.
It appears that less than one day after Ted Cruz announced he is quitting the race, the last hurdle to Donald Trump becoming the official GOP candidate instead of just the "presumptive" one, is about to fall: according to CNN's Phil Mattingly the republican challenger has just cancelled a press conference in Virginia and will make a statement in Ohio this afternoon at 5pm. We assume it is to announce he too is withdrawing from the race.

That was the kind of irreverent fun I was looking for at a Trump rally, and in fact was the high point of the event, taking place long before the candidate himself appeared on stage. (The correct answer was “Immigration.”)

Donald Trump won Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Tennessee and Virginia, and may yet win Vermont. (And, I suppose, Alaska, though at this point I doubt it.) He’s taken a significant lead in the delegate count, and he’ll likely have won a majority of delegates in at least one more state, and possibly as many as three, bringing him closer to the magic number eight that guarantees his name may be placed in nomination at the convention. So he’s a winner!
The last time a "epic" blizzard was supposed to slam New York City almost exactly one year ago, it ended up being an even more epic dud. This time, however, winter storm Jonas was no false alarm as millions of Americans across the Eastern Aeaboard woke up this morning to as much as two feet of snow, flooding, no electricity, strong winds, or all of the above.
