Google has blocked dozens of search links that contain references to the celebrity threesome scandal following legal demands from lawyers representing Elton John and husband David Furnish. The internet giant have removed links to articles about Elton John and David Furnish who are currently at the centre of a super injunction barring the press in England and Wales from naming them, on the grounds of privacy. It is understood that Google received demands from an online privacy company to remove around 150 links from its British website. The Court of Appeal in London had granted the injunction against naming the famous celebrity in England and Wales. The Guardian reports: Searches for the names of either person return notices at the bottom of the page saying results have been removed. Removed entries on both sets of searches are linked to the same legal requests. However, links to a database which records takedown notices go to pages without any information. The Daily Mail reported that an online privacy firm claiming to be acting on behalf of the couple had complained about more than 150 links on the search engine.
