Would you like to see a survivalist portrayed as a hero instead of a typical slack-jawed Hollywood villain? I sure would. I’m tired of leftists in the entertainment industry getting to write our stories for us and making as out to be whatever bad guy they need us to be.
Part of the motivation for my graphic novel project, Mountain Hollow, is to contribute something tangible to the culture war – something beyond political analysis. Movies are too expensive to make, but a comic book? That’s a possibility. However, I’m going to need more backers to make it happen, and right now I only have 57.
The way Indiegogo works, the more backers I generate at one time the higher up in the listings my campaign goes. This makes it possible to get more backing because people can actually SEE the campaign at the top of the list.
I need to get 43 more backers in the next 3 days in order to keep momentum going and get this project made. And hey, it’s a good story. A conservative survivalist saving children from soulless interdimensional creatures – It’s a bit of a metaphor, don’t ya think?
