Shooting At School In Southern France Leaves Several Injured; France Issues Terrorist Attack Warning

Update: French police say one man has been arrested and a second person is possibly on the run following a shooting at a high school in Grasse. Additionally, Reuters adds that the Grasse high school shooting was between 2 students and is not terror related, according to the Grasse Town Hall

Moments after one person was injured at the Paris IMF Headquarters after opening a letter bomb, the French government has launched a terrorist attack warning after a shooting took place at the southern town of Grasse, where several have been injured. According to Reuters, a man opened fired on the headmaster at the Grasse high school, French BFM TV reports citing sources.

Reuters adds that local emergency services are advising on Twitter that residents should stay indoors.

According to AFP, the shooting was by a person who broke into the school, AFP said. The exact nature of the attack wasn’t immediately clear.
