Donald Trump has yet again stated that he seeks to have good or even “great” relations with Russia. Speaking beside Finnish President Sauli Niinisto, Trump stated,
“I hope that we do have good relations with Russia. I say it loud and clear, I’ve been saying it for years: I think it’s a good thing if we have great relationships, or at least good relationships with Russia.
Underfunded public pensions are undoubtedly the biggest threat facing America's long-term economic stability. As we've argued numerous times in the past, the size of the aggregate underfunding, $5-$8 trillion depending on your assumptions, is simply too large for even the overly generous American taxpayer to cover.
Of course, one of the biggest contributors to this inevitable crisis is the state of Kentucky which has a funding hole of $33-$84 billion, depending on your discount rate assumptions, according to an analysis recently conducted by PFM Group.

Remember last November when it seemed like everyone was a US dollar bull?
Either they thought Trump would usher in the next Reaganesque US economic free market nirvana, or they were convinced there was this massive US dollar emerging markets short position from the years of USD debt issuance.

Wednesday morning, Nov. 9, 2016, Republicans awoke to learn they had won the lottery. Donald Trump had won the presidency by carrying Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. All three states had gone Democratic in the last six presidential elections.
The GOP had won both houses of Congress. Party control of governorships and state legislatures rivaled the halcyon years of the 1920s.
