According to declassified CIA documents, the Deep State made plans to ‘utterly destroy the Syrian government’ as far back as 1983.  Documents obtained via the U.S. National Archives reveal detailed plans to militarily intervene in Syria in order to secure their oil supply. Activistpost.com reports: Documents contained in the U.S. National Archives and drawn up by the CIA reveal a plan to destroy the Syrian government going back decades. One such document entitled, “Bringing Real Muscle To Bear In Syria,” written by CIA officer Graham Fuller, is particularly illuminating.

Newly-declassified documents show that a senior CIA agent and Deputy Director of the Directorate of Intelligence worked closely with the owners and journalists of many of the largest media outlets:

A newly declassified CIA document explored multiple scenarios of Syrian regime collapse at a time when Hafez al-Assad’s government was embroiled in a covert “dirty war” with Israel and the West, and in the midst of a diplomatic crisis which marked an unprecedented level of isolation for Syria.

A senior counterintelligence official claims that agents working within the FBI and CIA are “thriving” under the Trump administration.  Bill Evanina, the national counterintelligence executive, says media reports referring to an alleged “drop in morale” among the intelligence community are patently false. “I don’t see a dip in morale,” he said. “The media created this morale issue.” Dailycaller.com reports: Evanina then added that the media should write a story about how the intelligence community is not actually suffering from a problem with low morale.
