Dubai Approve Military Trials For Citizens In Crackdown On Dissent

Dubai has approved a constitutional change allowing military courts to try citizens, in a huge crackdown on government dissent.  Amid ongoing reforms to squash all forms of criticism against the government, Bahrain’s parliament approved emergency measures on Sunday that will allow an unofficial state of martial law to be enacted, resulting in the rights of activists and dissenters stripped away.

Dubai To Build First City On Mars By 2117

The first ever city on the planet Mars will be built and overseen by the Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The UAE announced plans to build a city on the red planet as part of the 2117 Mars project. Al Nahyan will collaborate with His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces in order to see the construction completed within the next 100 years.

Chinese Stowaway Found On Emirates Flight To Dubai

A teenager was found hiding in the cargo hold of an Emirates plane at Dubai airport after an eight-hour flight from China. The boy sneaked on board Flight EK303 on Friday after jumping a security fence in Shanghai. He was planning to get rich in Dubai. The Evening Standard reports: The flight in question is usually served by its largest aircraft, the double-decker Airbus A380, and lasts for more than eight hours. The teenager, whose condition is currently unknown, is thought to be a 16-year-old named Xu, China’s official Xinhua News Agency said.

Russia Say CIA Agent Was Killed On Dubai Plane Carrying Millions Of Dollars

A Russian investigation into the FlyDubai Flight FZ981 crash has revealed that the Dubai plane had been carrying a top CIA official who had an estimated $27 million in his possession.  The CIA agent was travelling on a forged British passport under the name of Larisa Allen. Whatdoesitmean.com reports: According to this report, this FlyDubai Boeing 737-800 aircraft that had taken off from Dubai Airport exploded this morning at about 03:50 Moscow time (00:50 GMT) while landing at Rostov Airport killing all 55 passengers and seven crew members aboard.
