While it appears some have already moved on from this morning's devastating actions in Virginia...

Some are still concerned and so MedStar Washington Hospital Center released a statement on the condition of the Majority Whip (via Rep. Scalise's Twitter account)...

"Congressman Steve Scalise sustained a single rifle shot to the left hip. The bullet travelled across his pelvis, fracturing bones, injuring internal organs, and causing severe bleeding.

 

While Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder remains comfortably ensconced in the governor’s mansion, Mich. Attorney General Bill Schuette charged two more state health officials for misconduct related to the poisoning of Flint, Mich.'s watere supply, adding to the list of lower-level officials who've been held accountable for their actions while top decision makers go free.

Earlier today the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released the first projected county-by-county map of Obamacare coverage for the 2018 plan year which depicts at least 47 counties, with 35,000 active Obamacare exchange participants, that will have no health insurance options next year.  Meanwhile, another 2.4 million people are expected to have only 1 option for coverage. Two US soldiers have been killed after an Afghan army soldier opened fired on them in eastern Afghanistan, an Afghan official told the Associated Press.

Attahullah Khogyani, spokesman for the provincial governor in Nangarhar province, told the AP Saturday that two other US soldiers were wounded in the attack, which took place in the Achin district.

He said the Afghan soldier was killed after the attack.

Earlier this morning President Trump previewed a speech he will deliver momentarily to a group of voters in Cincinnati on Obamacare reform and infrastructure with the following tweet:
