Kim Jong Un Forces Starving North Koreans To Watch Gourmet Cooking Competition

One way to deal with bouts of projectile dysfunction is either to launch even more ballistic missiles, or just to call in a thousand of your country's top cooks and have them make comfort food for you.

 

According to the Post, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un broadcast a "master chef" style competition to find the country's top chef, as well as to gorge on food as millions of starving viewers looked on.

A new pop-up restaurant is to open in London this summer offering a truly liberating dinning experience where wearing clothes would be optional. Diners will enjoy a night out without any impurities: no chemicals, no artificial colors, no electricity, no gas, no phone and no clothes.  International Business Times reports: The Bunyadi is set to open for three months from June 2016, with tickets available to would-be diners on a first-come first-serve basis.

Concern As River Near Yellowstone National Park Starts Boiling

Last month the Shoshone River, near Yellowstone National Park, suddenly and without warning started boiling. The river changed color and started to emit a sulfuric odor on March 25th. Geologists and other experts believe that a portion of the river located near Cody, Wyoming had started to boil and that a new Yellowstone vent opened up. The boiling river has cooled down, at least for now. However, earthquake activity in and around the Yellowstone supervolcano is reportedly increasing.

Volunteers Save Stranded Orca In British Columbia

A young orca that found itself beached on some rocks was saved by a team of volunteers and researchers in Hartley Bay, on the North coast of British Columbia. The volunteers managed to keep the ocra alive by keeping it cool for eight hours until high tide (scroll down for video) According to Minds.com, the group responded to a call from a colleague about the beached orca which had became stranded during low tide: “She cried often, which tore at our hearts, but as the tide came up there were many cheers as this whale was finally free,” said a Facebook post from the group The Cetacean Lab.
