US President Barack Obama’s administration is expected to publicly blame cyber-hackers from Iran for the “coordinated campaign” of cyber attacks between 2012 and 2013 on some U.S. banks and a water dam in New York State, according to reports Triblive.com reports: The Justice Department has prepared an indictment against about a half-dozen Iranians, said the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter. It is one of the highest-profile U.S.

The Arizona shooter, Jared Lee Loughner, has filed a lawsuit against U.S. politician Gabrielle Giffords and the Federal Bureau of Prisons, claiming that he has been the victim of the MK-Ultra project – the government’s mind control program where human subject are illegally experimented on by the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).  Loughner is filing for $25 million in damages for what he claims caused him “emotional distress” five years after he shot and killed six people in Tuscon in January 2011.

The investigation into claims that a Westminster VIP paedophile ring abused and murdered children in the 1970s and 80s has been closed by the Metropolitan Police. Operation Midland was closed after the last living suspect, former Conservative MP Harvey Proctor, was told he would face no charges. The inquiry that cost over £1.8 million ended without a single person being arrested. The Anti Media reports: According to the Met Police, no evidence was found that children were abused and murdered by an array of accused politicians that included former heads of the army and intelligence chiefs.

In the aftermath of the FBI's surprising request on Monday to postpone a hearing in its legal crusade to unlock Apple cellphones, many wondered who it was that had succeeded in penetrating the supposedly unhackable smartphone. Earlier today Reuters provided the answer: the FBI's effort is being assisted by Israel's Cellebrite, a provider of mobile forensic software, which is now helping the Feds in their attempt to unlock an iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino, California shooters, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported on Wednesday.
