Looks like the leakers are back from vacation...
After a summer with only a handful of leaked “updates” about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into purported collusion between the Russian government and Trump campaign, Buzzfeed is back with its first major investigation “scoop” since it published the phony “Russia dossier” late last year.
Last October Jay Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) received the following letter from the FBI regarding his FOIA request for any documents related to the now-infamous Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting in June 2016. The letter quite simply stated there were "no records responsive to your request."
Judging by this morning's presidential twitter blooper reel we can only assume that General Kelly didn't make the trip to New York City with President Trump last night.
Trump's latest unforced error came when he attempted to retweet a Fox & Friends story which said that he was considering a presidential pardon for former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Unfortunately, he inadvertently retweeted someone's response to the story who had called Trump a fascist.
He's a fascist, so not unusual.
Update 1: According to BBC and RTL radio, the driver of the BMW that to plowed into a pizzeria just east of Paris was a 39-year-old male who told police he had wanted to kill himself and had weapons in his car. Police have not named the man or said where he is from. He gave an immediate statement to police and officers ruled out terrorism. Investigators said they believed the incident was "deliberate... but apparently has no connection with a terrorist act".
