North Atlantic Treaty Organization

On March 30, 2004 — just over 19 years ago, then-Representative Ron Paul (R-TX) concluded a United Sates House of Representatives statement with a strong admonition regarding the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and US involvement in it. Paul stated:

In conclusion, we should not be wasting US tax money and taking on more military obligations expanding NATO. The alliance is a relic of the Cold War, a hold-over from another time, an anachronism. It should be disbanded, the sooner the better.

From the very beginning of the Ukraine conflict I have been following developments on both sides. My concern has always been the larger implications in geopolitics and economics. The war in Ukraine is not a factor; rather, it’s Putin’s duplicity, or at the very least it’s the manner in which he has been presented to conservatives. The notion that Putin is “anti-globalist” has been circulating within the alternative media for at least a decade now and frankly there’s not an ounce of truth to it.

Putin has given a remarkable address to the Federal Assembly, the Russian People, and the peoples of the world.

In his speech Putin revealed the existence of new Russian nuclear weapons that make it undisputably clear that Russia has vast nuclear superiority over the United States and its pathic NATO vassal states.
In view of the Russian capabilities, it is not clear that the US any longer qualifies as a superpower.
