The disgraced former chairwoman of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, reportedly attacked FBI director James Comey during a closed-door meeting on Friday.  Wasserman Schultz, who was forced to resign amid allegations of election rigging, confronted Comey on alleged Russian interference during the US election. Foxnews.com reports: The closed-door meeting included intelligence chiefs and members of Congress. The Hill reported that it was tense.

Human Rights Watch is placing President-elect Donald Trump on a list of people who they deem a “threat to human rights”. The organization say that Trump’s political philosophy promotes intolerance and spreads hatred throughout America. “Donald Trump’s election as US president after a campaign fomenting hatred and intolerance, and the rising influence of political parties in Europe that reject universal rights, have put the postwar human rights system at risk,” the group announced.

Filed on January 12, 2017, the document shows the layoff of a specialist employed by the Clinton Global Initiative as part of a "plant closure" and that the reason for their discontinuation was the "Discontinuation of the Clinton Global Initiative."
