Liberal Democrat Leader Says Legalise Cannabis For Recreational Use

Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron is set to become the first leader of one of Britain’s main political parties to call for the legalisation of cannabis for recreational use. Farron also declared that the war on drugs must end and he will endorse a motion which proposes extending legal cannabis use from medicinal to recreational. The Guardian reports: The motion, to be tabled by the former health minister Norman Lamb, will be debated after the release of the findings of an expert panel appointed by the Lib Dems to examine how a legal market for the use of cannabis would work in the UK.

German Government Urge Citizens To Embrace Migrant Crisis

Germany have begun an aggressive advertising campaign urging citizens to overcome their supposed “dark side” and embrace the current migrant crisis engulfing Europe.  The propaganda billboards say, “Germany, stay strong! North Korea Expel South Koreans From Kaesong Amid Military Tension

North Korea have expelled all South Koreans from the Kaesong industrial zone on Thursday, seizing their factory assets and blaming Seoul’s earlier decision to shutter the complex as being a “declaration of war”.  Pyongyang has said it is placing Kaesong under military control and cutting communication lines with Seoul. Atimes.com reports: The measures mark a significant escalation of cross-border tensions that have been elevated since North Korea carried out a nuclear test last month and a long-range rocket launch on Sunday.
