Ted Cruz has dropped out of the presidential race:
Crushed in the Indiana primary he had declared would decide the fate of the Republican presidential campaign, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz on Tuesday night ended his presidential campaign, essentially ceding the nomination to front-runner Donald Trump.

As Politico reports,
Ted Cruz is quitting the presidential race, according to campaign manager Jeff Roe, ending one of the best-organized campaigns of 2016 after a series of stinging defeats left Donald Trump as the only candidate capable of clinching the nomination outright.
"America doesn’t trust you anymore. That’s the truth... and that’s not one party, that’s both" raged former Senator Tom Coburn during a hearing before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs this week.
For the past few months, we have been shown the massive crowds of millennials flooding Bernie Sanders rallies, and the dyed in the wool democrats who have been flocking to Hillary's. The narrative has been that the Democrats have really generated some enthusiasm this year that hasn't been seen in the past. We hear that Bernie is motivating a significant portion of the youth to put down the controller and get involved, while Hillary has provided a solid home for the more traditional democrats to go to.
Thousands of activists descended on Washington, D.C. over the weekend in a show of mass civil disobedience against the influence of money in politics. More than 5,000 peaceful activists arrived on the Capitol from across the country, including hundreds of protestors who had marched from Philadelphia. Despite the huge turnout, the corporate controlled mainstream media failed to cover the weekend-long event, despite the loud and clear message from thousands of Americans that they were sick of the corruption rife in politics and in the election process.
