Jeb Bush Ends His Presidential Campaign

Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush announced on Saturday night that he would leave the 2016 Presidential race, after a disappointing finish in South Carolina. Donald Trump may have helped destroy Jeb’s candidacy by repeatedly challenging him on 9/11 by saying that the terror attack was the fault of his brother George W. Bush Or perhaps America has had enough of the Bush family… Press TV reports: Bush, who was once considered Republican frontrunner, finished in sixth place in the Iowa caucuses and in fourth places in New Hampshire and South Carolina.

Jeb Bush suspended his presidential campaign on Saturday, ending a quest for the White House that started with a war chest of $100 million, a famous name and a promise of political civility, but ended with a humbling recognition: in 2016, none of it mattered.

 

Poll Suggests Bernie Sanders Could Win Election For Democrats

A recent poll indicates that Bernie Sanders is gaining support among Democrats, with 72% of registered voters believing he could win the U.S. presidential race against any Republican candidate. In a previous poll conducted in Dec. 2015 only 21% of those surveyed had any faith in the junior United States Senator from Vermont. The public are now ‘feeling the Bern’ and liking it. The head of the Roman Catholic Church has questioned Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s credentials for qualifying as a Christian who follows the path of the righteous. In an interview Pope Francis condemned Donald Trumps behaviour during the U.S. presidential race saying his ideas were “not Christian.” Trump fought back by calling the pontiff “disgraceful” and a “pawn”.
