An elderly man cut off his partner’s head and flushed it down the toilet after he found explicit pictures on her computer and she admitted having sex with other men. The man’s son gave evidence to the Old Bailey saying his father was “really, really, really, really shocked” when he found out his mum had sex with other men. He then smashed up her head and flushed it down the toilet, prosecutors claim. Concluding his opening statement this afternoon, prosecutor Crispin Aylett said: “At the point of decapitation, she had in fact been alive. “The decapitation wounds were consistent with a bladed knife and there were several cuts to the skin. There were also a number of blunt injuries [bruising] consistent with gripping. “Over a period of time, the defendant had threatened and behaved violently towards Judith. Unsurprisingly she had begun to fear for her own safety. “There can be no doubt the defendant decapitated and then disposed of her head.
