Putin has announced ambitious plans to completely obliterate ISIS once and for all, following a successful mission in surrounding their headquarters in Syria this week. Russian troops alongside Syrian forces stormed into a key province surrounding Raqqa on Friday, and are now ready finish the terrorist regime once and for all. Russian bombers smashed key ISIS positions in Raqqa as Assad’s forces closed in on the ground, defeating ISIS’ attempts to hold them back in a bloody firefight. Express.co.uk reports: According to the Al-Masdar News agency Syrian forces claimed a major victory at the Zakiyah Crossroad, a strategic area on the edge of Raqqa province, and are now making a lightning advance towards the city itself. The troops are said to have recaptured more than 22 miles of land leading towards Raqqa whilst also liberating the village of Abu Al-Allaj from the evil fanatics’ rule. Syrian forces now have the ISIS-held town of Tabqa, some 30 miles outside Raqqa, firmly in their sites and aim to liberate it before steamrollering on to the jihadis’ capital itself.
