As the Malaysian police pieces together the clues of last week's dramatic assassination of Kim Jong-Un's brother, in a press conference this morning officials said that the two women suspected in the fatal poisoning attack were trained to coat their hands with toxic chemicals, then wipe them on his face, and also announced they were seeking a North Korean diplomat in connection with the attack.

The US Secretary of State has urged China to “use all available tools” to rein in North Korea over their provocative actions. Rex Tillerson made his plea on the sidelines of a first-time meeting with the Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, during a G20 foreign ministers summit on Friday. Their talks come less than a week after North Korea test-fired a newly developed intermediate-range ballistic missile in its first provocative act since Trump came into office.

North Korea Says It Successfully Test-Fired A Nuclear-Capable ICBM Which Can "Avoid Interception"

North Korea said it successfully test-fired a new type of medium- to long-range ballistic missile that is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, the country's state-run media said Monday. The North Korean missile flew over 500 kilometers, landing in the sea and stirring up world leaders, with the US rushing to reassure its allies South Korea and Japan.

North Korea Fires First Ballistic Missile Since Trump Took Office

North Korea has reportedly fired a ballistic missile, in the first test since Donald Trump took office as US president. The ballistic missile was launched on Sunday morning and reached an altitude of about 550 kilometers, according to a South Korean military source. Japanese officials said that the missile did not reach its waters. Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said the test was “absolutely intolerable” while President Trump assured the visiting Japanese PM that Washington was committed to the security of its key Asian ally.
