The symbolic resistance against Trump's climate agenda took another step on Friday evening, when New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio signed an executive order reaffirming the city’s commitment to the Paris climate change agreement despite, or rather due to, Trump withdrawing the U.S. from the agreement.

In response to the Trump administration's announcement that it was pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord, some of his critics declared that anyone who likes "science" would have supported the accord. 

Not surprisingly, Neil deGrasse Tyson rushed to declare that Trump supported the withdrawal because his administration "never learned what Science is or how and why it works."

Billionaire, and former New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg would like for you to know that, despite Trump's decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate agreement, he's absolutely intent upon imposing the environmental 'tax' contemplated in the agreement on you anyway. As such, he's developing a coalition of U.S. states, cities and business leaders to defy the President's decision and comply with the terms of the original deal.

Update 1

In a response to President Donald Trump's decision to pull the US out of the Paris climate pact, French President Emmanuel Macron said Thursday night that the effects of climate change are already evident around the world.

With Trump reportedly set to leave the Paris Climate Deal, this has prompted one of Trump's "advisors",  Elon Musk, to tweet moments ago that he has done "all he can" to advise "directly to POTUS, through others in WH & via councils" that the U.S. remain in the Paris climate deal. 

And, in response to a Twitter user asking him what he will do if Trump decides to leave the climate deal, Musk tweets "we will have no choice but to depart councils."
