Juat a month after comments that he had begun exploring employment possibilities outside of Congress, Politico reports Rep. Jason Chaffetz is expected announce today that he is resigning before the end of this congressional term, according to three sources familiar with his plans.

As Politico details, Chaffetz did not respond to a request for comment Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.

Multiple sources say he will leave Congress on June 30.

For the past several months, Democrats have based their "Resist 45" movement on unsubstantiated assertions that the Trump campaign coordinated with Russian intelligence officials to undermine the 2016 Presidential Election thereby 'stealing' the White House from Hillary Clinton.  Day after day we've all suffered through one anonymously sourced, "shock" story after another from the New York Times and/or The Washington Post with new allegations of the 'wrongdoing'.

After giving hours of testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on May 8th (which we covered here), Sally Yates sat down for another round of interviews with CNN's Anderson Cooper to answer all the same questions about Michael Flynn's dismissal all over again.  The full interview is set to air tonight at 8pm EST on CNN but a teaser clip has been released for our early digestion.
