As he so often does, Trump took an already controversial decision last week and turned it into an absolute firestorm with one simple tweet.  With Democrats already working themselves into a tizzy over the 'suspicious' timing of James Comey's abrupt dismissal, the cries of "witness intimidation" and comparisons to the Nixon administration quickly reached a fevered pitch from the Left with Trump's release of the following tweet:

It appears the so-called 'resistance' is coalescing around a number of fired-by-Trump formerly powerful Obama administration officials desperate to maintain the tyrannical Trump narrative. The latest is infamous non-prosecutor of Wall Street's worst Preet Bharara who questions: Are there still public servants who are prepared to say no to the president?

Donald Trump said he expects to make a "fast decision" on a replacement for fired FBI Director James Comey, perhaps before he departs the U.S. on May 19 for his first foreign trip as president. Trump said the candidates under consideration to lead the FBI - White House officials have identified 11 of them so far - are "outstanding people." He said most are "very well known" and of the "highest level."

As Bloomberg reports, the 11 candidates under consideration as a permanent replacement for Comey:

Uber, the one-time $68 billion dollar darling of Silicon Valley, just can't seem to catch a break lately.  Just yesterday we noted that a European judge issued a major blow for the company's efforts across several Euro-zone countries by finding that Uber is not really a "tech" company but rather just a glorified taxi service.  Of course, the ramifications of such a finding are that Uber would have to enforce regulatory compliance among their drivers and even provide auto insurance (see "Uber Suffers Major Setback In Efforts To Conquer European Market").

After 8 years of the Obama administration relaxing sentencing guidelines for drug dealers, you know because it's just racist to jail drug dealers moving cocaine by the kilo, and releasing hundreds of hardened criminals from federal prisons around the country, Jeff Sessions has taken it upon himself to undo yet another component of Obama's "legacy."
