President Trump fired James Comey late Tuesday, and better now than never. These columns opposed Mr. Comey’s nomination by Barack Obama, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Director has committed more than enough mistakes in the last year to be dismissed for cause.
Dan Heyman, a reporter for Public News Service, was arrested Tuesday at the West Virginia Capitol for allegedly causing a disturbance and yelling questions at federal leaders in town, court records show. According to WSAZ, the altercation happened during a visit from U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Tom Price and Special Counsel to the President of the United States Kellyanne Conway.
Following hours of testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday regarding her involvement in the General Flynn fiasco as well as her rather unprecedented refusal to defend President Trump's travel ban, Judicial Watch has filed a FOIA lawsuit against the Department of Justice seeking all of Yates' emails from her time at the DOJ. A passenger fight broke out at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Monday night after angry Spirit Airlines travelers faced massive delays and flight cancellations due to labor issues with the carrier's pilot's union, which have resulted in over 300 flight cancelations over the past 7 days. Video posted online showed upset passengers confronting airline employees as Broward Sheriff's deputies were on hand attempting to keep order in the terminal after at least nine flights were canceled.
