California Company Testing Beer Made From Used Toilet Water

California is suffering one of the worst droughts in history, which according to Oregon Live, is causing some companies to become very creative with what they use to make their products…particularly in the beer industry: Half Moon Bay Brewing created an IPA with gray water from toilets and showers. The water, of course, is treated using NASA’s system that allows astronauts, such as recently-returned Scott Kelly, to brew coffee with their sweat and urine.

Top NASA Official Jailed/Missing Under Suspicious Circumstances

A top NASA official has been jailed and has subsequently gone missing under suspicious circumstances.  According to an article from June 2015, the NASA COMSEC Administrator was “fired” and put in jail after “admitting” to amassing child pornography whilst at work: “70-year-old NASA worker who was fired last month is in jail after admitting he amassed child pornography.” “He was in a mental hospital, where he was admitted because he was suicidal.” “He was fired May 29 from his job at Kennedy Space Center … as well as Science Applications International Corp., after they accused him of several

NASA Caught Using Green Screen To Fake Astronaut Footage

A video has been leaked featuring George Bush Sr. visiting NASA which inadvertently shows British Astronaut Tim Peak standing in front of a blue screen with a grid pattern on it. The screen appears to be between him and a film set showing the ISS.  This appears to be the first “behind the scenes” look at how the green screen is used when filming the “experiments” on the ISS, such as the water CGI shots, and other CGI overlay shots. A grid, or key points on a green screen is one way to do motion-overlay/image overlay in after effects.

NASA And Lockheed To Resurrect Supersonic Air Travel

NASA in collaboration with Lockheed Martin are planning to make supersonic passenger travel a reality once again. Concorde, the last turbojet-powered supersonic passenger jet that was made jointly by France and the U.K. was retired in 2003. The new supersonic passenger aircraft will be much quieter and more fuel efficient and could soon be quietly traversing the skies at mach 2 speeds. Geek reports: It took time for the turbojet-powered Concorde to become profitable, as both the hardware and maintenance were considerably more expensive than traditional jets.

NASA: Asteroid 2013 TX68 Might Actually Hit Earth Next Year – Be Prepared

NASA have made a starling announcement saying that there is a chance that asteroid 2013 TX68 could hit Earth when it re-approaches next year.  This new admission marks a dramatic change of mind about the risks posed by the asteroid when NASA said the 100ft-wide rock had ‘no possibility’ of hitting the Earth earlier in the month. If asteroid 2013 TX68 does it hit earth on September 28, 2017, it will explode in the atmosphere, unleashing the same amount of energy as a large nuclear bomb, and destroying anything beneath it.
