A Federal Security Services (FSB) report on the trial of Ukrainian spy Nadiya Savchenko says that beyond top secret emails belonging to Hillary Clinton must be allowed into the sentencing phase of the case in a Russian court, due to their critical relevance.  Nadiya Savchenko is a former Ukraine Air Force pilot who, in 2014, joined a military detachment of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, in their fight against Russian separatist factions.

Moscow have accused the Turkish government of resorting to “ignoring proof-less propaganda” as Turkey have said that they believe a Russian Su-34 bomber violated its airspace on Friday.  This latest confrontation between the two countries comes just two months after Turkey shot down a Russian Su-24 warplane, which Russia say was legally flying over Syria. The incident has led to Russia imposing sanctions against Turkey. “There have been no Turkish airspace violations by the aircraft of the Russian airborne tactical formation [acting] in the Syrian Arab Republic.

China have accused the United States of violating international law as a US destroyer was spotted sailing within 12 nautical miles of the disputed islands in the South China Sea on Saturday. The U.S. military have admitted sailing past the disputed island, saying it was asserting its freedom of navigation. “We conducted a freedom of navigation operation in the South China Sea earlier tonight,” Pentagon spokesman Jeff Davis said in a statement.
