Computer uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and 3D printing to create The Next Rembrandt, a counterfeit reproduction of the style of the great 17th century Dutch painter Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn. Microsoft and ING in collaboration with the Technical University of Delft and two museums in the Netherlands, including the Rembrandt House Museum have created a new painting that is remarkably similar to a genuine Rembrandt, something that might have been painted 350 years ago.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) court battle with Apple over the security system in place on iPhones appears to be over. But some experts in the communications security community are expressing concern because of the Bureau’s unwillingness to reveal what exactly occurred to end the standoff.

One billion users worldwide will now be able to use the app knowing that their messages would be inaccessible to anyone except the recipient. The Facebook owned company believes that encryption leads to better security all around. From today all communications on the world’s most popular app would be secure. Even Whatsapp would not be able to see the real content of the messages sent between users.
