NY Attorney General Hires Public-Corruption Prosecutor To Target Trump Administration; WSJ Reports

Just days after the controversial dismissal of former Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara by Jeff Sessions, (see "Trump Fires US Attorney Preet Bharara After He Refuses To Quit"), New York state’s attorney general, and well known Democrat donor, Eric Schneiderman, has decided to pick up the crusade against the Trump administration where Bharara left off by announcing the hiring of his top public-corruption prosecutor, Howard Master, to focus specifically on issues involving the Trump administration.

With Trump's first angry tweet of the day, it is becoming very clear that the president's diplomatic approach vis-a-vis the judicial system can be described quite simply as "scorched earth." Following last night's Appeals Court hearing, Trump had the following response: "If the U.S. does not win this case as it so obviously should, we can never have the security and safety to which we are entitled. Following the latest dramatic twist in the ordeal surrounding Trump's Immigration Executive Order, when on Friday night Seattle Federal Judge Robart (appointed by George W. Bush in 2003) blocked Trump's travel ban from seven Muslim countries, the White House promptly responded by stating that it intends to file an emergency stay of this "outrageous order and defend the executive order of the President, which we believe is lawful and appropriate."

Trump Again Slams "Highly Overrated" Hamilton, Lashes Out At "Biased" SNL

Trump's feud with the entertainment industry is just getting started.

The President-elect took to Twitter Sunday morning to again slam the cast and producer of the Broadway musical "Hamilton," following vice president-elect Mike Pence's attendance at the show Friday night. "The cast and producers of Hamilton, which I hear is highly overrated, should immediately apologize to Mike Pence for their terrible behavior," Trump tweeted at 6:22 a.m.
