Is Congress Declaring War On ISIS... Or On You (& Your Cash)?

Passage of Senator Mitch McConnell’s authorization for war against ISIS will not only lead to perpetual US wars across the globe, it will also endanger our civil and economic liberties. The measure allows the president to place troops anywhere he determines ISIS is operating. Therefore, it could be used to justify using military force against United States citizens on US territory. It may even be used to justify imposing martial law in America.

ISIS Behead 14 Year Old In Front Of Parents

Islamic State (ISIS) extremists beheaded a Syrian boy in front of his parents on Saturday in the northern city of Jarablus. The so called Islamic State terrorists accused the 14-year-old of apostasy for missing Friday prayers and demanded a crowd gather to watch the macabre event. ARA news reports: The 14-year-old boy was arrested by ISIS militants for missing Friday prayers at the central mosque of Jarablus, where pro-ISIS preachers usually deliver speeches promoting the group’s alleged Caliphate.

Bomb Attacks On Nigerian Pipelines Cause Massive Oil Spill

Multiple bombings of oil pipelines in southern Nigeria has caused a massive oil spill into surrounding areas. Attacks on the Agip oil pipelines have caused thousands of barrels of oil to pollute waterways, farms and fishing grounds in the southern Bayelsa state. Oil flowed unchecked for two days, according to fishermen who complained that a clean-up had not yet started. Press TV reports: The unidentified official said 16,000 barrels of oil per day were lost since explosions on Thursday and Friday which were blamed on militants who want a bigger share of oil revenues in the producing state.
