California Considering Legislation To Become First Ever Sanctuary State

We've written frequently in recent weeks/months about the brewing battle between the Trump administration and so-called "sanctuary cities" where local police officers are specifically instructed to ignore federal immigration laws.  Now, the leftist state of California is considering a new senate bill that would have the entire state become America's first "sanctuary state."

California has officially declared that Monsanto week-killer Roundup is carcinogenic, and can now legally require the chemical giant to put a warning on the product.  According to a court ruling on Friday, Roundup is a possible cancer threat and authorities in the State have a duty to warn the public about the danger it poses. Dailymail.co.uk reports: Monsanto had sued the nation’s leading agricultural state, saying California officials illegally based their decision for carrying the warnings on an international health organization based in France.

Californian state officials are studying ways to withhold the state’s payment of federal tax dollars to Washington in order to protest against President Trump’s policies “until impeachment happens“. “State officials are putting everything on the table. Today a source in the state government told me that that involves finding ways to stop the flow of funds from California to Washington D.C.,” reported San Francisco’s KPIX 5.
