CNN has been unceremoniously kicked out of Venezuela following a fake news report about President Maduro allegedly selling passports to terrorists in the Middle East.  According to the Venezuelan government, CNN deliberately tried to bring down the government in Venezuela, taking advantage of the economic instability and heightened political tension in the country.

YouTube star PewDiePie has accused the mainstream media of attacking independent media outlets due to the fact that the public, en masse, are turning away from old school media.  The Swedish comedian – who has a YouTube channel with over 53 million subscribers – recently came under fire and was accused of being “anti-semitic” and a “nazi” after he came out in support of President Trump.
