Controversial Canadian politician Rob Ford has died of Cancer at the age of 46. He was known as a man who spoke his mind and will be remembered as the politician who called you back. Ford gained notoriety when he admitted to smoking crack cocaine during his time in office. He had been fighting a battle with cancer and only recently declared himself cancer-free. The Star reports: Ford famously made his cellphone and home number available to the public.

Chi Chi was adopted by the Howell family of Phoenix, Arizona after being found wrapped in a plastic bag and dumped among the trash behind a meat market.

The Candidates Pander at AIPAC

Both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump spoke at AIPAC’s conference yesterday, and they put on the typical pandering display one expects from candidates that attend the meeting. Trump made a point of saying near the start of his speech that “I didn’t come here tonight to pander to you about Israel,” and then spent the rest of his speech doing exactly that. One will search in vain for significant differences between Cruz and Trump in their obsessive anti-Iranian rhetoric. Clinton also joined in with her own hard-line speech designed to underscore her reputation for hawkishness.

Man Takes Shark Selfie Seconds Before Fatal Attack

An Oregon man on honeymoon in Miami took a selfie with a shark – and didn’t live to tell the tale. James Crowlett, a 34 year old life insurance salesman, died in grisly fashion after his right leg was eaten by the subterranean beast.  Local lifeguards got him onto a boat and took him to shore, but he died of massive blood loss before an ambulance could take him to the emergency room of the South Miami Hospital.
