We were trading ideas about a possible conference in which Christian scholars from a variety of disciplines would talk about what distinctively Christian approaches to their work might look like.

Talking to some after I got here, I am all filled in on the ridiculous situation orthodox Christians are facing in Canada, thanks to the March Of Progress. I heard good things about Calgary’s Catholic bishop, Fred Henry, who, I am told, is no friend of progressives. “He tells them to go pound sand,” said one Lutheran pastor, appreciatively.

Turky’s ‘Ministry Of Religion’ Encourages Martyrdom For Children

Turkey’s highest national religious body has issued its latest children’s magazine published by the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs in which Islamic martyrdom is glorified in a series of cartoons. Russia Today reports: A colorful cartoon titled “may god bless our martyrs, may their graves be full with holy light” features dialogues between parents and children that promotes an idea of religious martyrdom.
