Syrian Ceasefire Enabled Terrorists To Recover From Their Losses

A senior Iranian official has said that the ceasefire in Syria had been imposed in order to save foreign-backed militants from a total defeat. According to Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), the truce, which was brokered by the US and Russia and went into effect across Syria on February 27, actually helped the terrorist groups recover from their losses.

According to Russia’s General Staff  the terrorist group Al-Nusra Front is receiving daily arms shipments across the border from Turkey. Lt. Gen. Sergey Rudskoy told journalists on Friday that the Al-Qaeda linked group remains a major destabilizing factor in Syria.
