A senior Iranian official has said that the ceasefire in Syria had been imposed in order to save foreign-backed militants from a total defeat. According to Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), the truce, which was brokered by the US and Russia and went into effect across Syria on February 27, actually helped the terrorist groups recover from their losses.
Israeli deputy minister Ayoub Kara has acknowledged that he paid a clandestine visit to Syria’s Aleppo, which is under the control of ISIS terrorists.
