13ft Sea Monster Washes Ashore In Mexico

A mysterious 13 foot long (4 metre) sea monster has washed ashore on a tourist beach in Mexico, leaving beach-goers and experts baffled as to what it could be.  The creature was discovered on Bonfil Beach in the city of Acapulco, Mexico, stunning witnesses who immediately began taking photo’s and posting them on social media. Yahoo News reports: The creature’s body was washed on the shore by strong currents that have been affecting parts of the Mexican coast.

Auschwitz Survivor Is The World’s Oldest Man

The world’s oldest man is a Jewish survivor of the notorious Auschwitz Nazi concentration and extermination camps in southern Poland. Mr Israel Kristal survived back-breaking slave labour at Auschwitz and other Nazi concentration camps. He was born in Poland and was awarded the title of the world’s oldest man on March 11, aged 112 years and 178 days, by Guinness World Records. The Express reports: Receiving his certificate at his home in Haifa, Israel, Mr Kristal said he did not know “the secret for long life”.

Penguin Swims 5,000 Miles Each Year To Visit Man Who Saved His Life

Every year a penguin swims 5,000 miles to be reunited with his dear friend, the man who saved his life five years ago. The South American Magellanic penguin swims the journey annually to meet with a retired bricklayer and part-time fisherman, Joao Pereira de Souza, who lives on an island outside Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Back in 2011 Joao found the penguin covered in oil and near death on his local beach.

Saudi Crown Prince Requested Prestigious French Honor Himself

A French magazine has revealed that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef himself requested to be honored with France’s most prestigious award, the Legion d’Honneur. Earlier this month French president Francois Hollande ‘discreetly’ awarded the country’s top honor to the heir to the Saudi throne “for his efforts in the region and around the world to combat extremism and terrorism.” Nayef allegedly said  he had asked for the honor to help to boost his international reputation.
