Thousands of citizens witnessed a huge UFO fireball hurtling through the skies of Tasmania, Australia on Tuesday morning, as government officials attempted to explain the spectacle away as a airplane.  According to Airservices Australia, the enormous fireball was a plane “passing over Australian airspace”. Herald Sun reports: “This isn’t a bloody plane, wake up people. If it was a plane then damn that would be one burning big ass plane. Planes don’t leave flames so how bout you all open your f*****g eyes and get some perspective” wrote one passionate Facebook user.

House Democrats are planning to disrupt President Trump’s first speech to a joint session of Congress by busing in hundreds of illegal immigrants, transgender teenagers, and angry celebrities including Madonna and Rosie O’Donnell, to fill the rafters of the House Gallery and “make Trump as uncomfortable as possible.” President Trump is keeping the tradition of previous Presidents by delivering a formal address to a Joint Session of Congress during his inaugural year on Tuesday February 28.

It appears that taking a scripted show in which overpaid millionaires pat each other on the back, while turning it into a platform to voice their coordinated political grievances and lash out against the elected choice of a plurality of America's voters may not have been the best idea to boost viewership: according to Nielsen, the 89th Annual Academy Awards brought in an average of 32.9 million viewers on Sunday night. According to ABC, that was the second lowest viewership in Oscar history and is down from the 2016 broadcast, which brought in 34 million viewers.

For those who missed last night's ritual of Hollywood self-congratulation, it ended in perhaps the greatest humiliation in Oscars' history, when the spectacle that relentlessly mocked and ridiculed Donald Trump, both directly and indirectly, concluded by handing the Best Picture award to the wrong movie.
