Saudi Arabia have violated the Nuclear Weapons Non-Proliferation Treaty by acquiring nuclear weapons from Pakistan. According to Saudi political analyst and spokesman for Riyadh, Daham al-Anzi, the Saudi regime have obtained atomic bombs in order to confront the “Iranian threat”. al-Anzi told Russia Today on February 19th that “We [Saudi Arabia] have nuclear bombs,” before repeating the same on another Arab channel.
Syria has warned Saudi Arabia against attempts to undermine peace efforts as the fragile ceasefire in the war-torn region enters its third day. The Syrian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday that remarks by Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir about a ‘plan B’ in Syria are clearly aimed at derailing the truce.
A court in Saudi Arabia has ruled that terrorism can now be defined as “calling for atheist thought in any form” and has sentenced a man to 10 years in prison and 2,000 lashes for expressing his atheist beliefs on social media. The 28-year-old has admitted to being an atheist and refused to repent, saying that what he wrote were his personal beliefs and that he mistakingly believed he had the right to express them.

Yesterday, during his speech at CERAWeek in Houston, Saudi oil minister Ali al-Naimi made it explicitly clear that Saudi Arabia would not cut production, instead saying that it is high-cost producers that would need to either "lower costs, borrow cash or liquidate” adding that there is "no need for cuts as marginal barrel will get out of the market." He was right.
