Israel Approves New Law To Punish Palestinian ‘Terrorists’ Under Age Of 14

Israel have approved a new law proposed by Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked which will allow Palestinian kids under the age of 14 to be imprisoned.  Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked had originally proposed the bill following an aggressive campaign to charge a 13-year-old Palestinian boy with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing two Jewish Israelis. “Unfortunately, terror does not have an age, and today there are no punishments matching the cruel reality we face,” she said.

Israel Seize 580 Acres Of Palestinian Land In West Bank

Israel have seized one of the largest Palestinian land plots in the West Bank, taking control of over 580 acres of land in an area south of Jericho.  The anti-settlement NGO Peace Now say that Israel plan to expand nearby Jewish settlements and build tourist and commercial related facilities in the area soon. “Instead of trying to clam the situation, the government is adding fuel to the fire and sending a clear message to Palestinians, as well as to Israelis, that it has no intention to work towards peace and two states,” they said.

Heinz Ketchup No Longer Legally “Ketchup” In Israel

Heinz is no longer to officially considered to be ‘ketchup’ in Israel. Israel’s Health Ministry ruled in 2015 that the brand product did not contain enough “tomato solids” to be labeled as ketchup in Israeli stores and was relegated to the title “tomato seasoning” The Times Of Israel reports: The ruling was the result of a lobbying campaign by Israeli food manufacturer Osem, which produces a large portion of the ketchup consumed in Israel.
